Thank you Debbie for all your amazing help. I’ve been in a few times and she was the only staff member who guided me in the right direction to get all the correct products I needed.
Came in to buy my usual hair dye. The service rep convinced me that another brand will give me better grey coverage. She also said the liquid hair colour works just as good and will last longer. Well just dyed my hair the it did not fully cover the grey. Please train your employees to recommend what really works. Waisted my money, and as you know we are living in tough times.
I had work today and I was excited when I had just enough time to make it to Sally beauty’s on time I got there at 5:57 PM this Sunday and the door was locked. I get it, we’re tired and want to go home on a Sunday, but the black girl with the Afro saw me from the cashier desk and I tried to speak to her, in which she saw me and completely ignored me and eventually shuffled to the side so she was out of my view , it was so rude. She didn’t acknowledge me, come to the door or anything, a simple “sorry we closed a bit earlier before 6”, would’ve been way more appreciated. Even her just acknowledging me from afar would’ve been appreciated. If you can’t have a basic conversation with someone to rely information than you have no business working a customer service job.
lol Bought something 30 minutes ago. Still trying to figure out what I did wrong to be judged like that while I was in the store. Just wanted to buy hair curling cream on my way home. Super strange. If you want to ruin your day definitely go shop here
The worst Sally’s I have ever been to. Workers always have an attitude, will pick the wrong hair colour for you, and take no accountability for their mistakes. Do NOT go to this Sally’s if you ever want good advice.
I am utterly disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience at this location. Despite having all necessary documentation – a clear, affirmative email from customer service approving my return, and a detailed invoice – the store outright refused to process my return. The staff was unhelpful and dismissive, claiming they couldn’t process the email without providing any clear explanation or viable solution. What was more disheartening was the lack of initiative or customer care. The situation clearly called for a simple call to their customer service to clarify and resolve the issue, but this basic step was not taken. Instead, I was left without support, with my time wasted, and my issue unresolved. This experience has seriously shaken my trust in Sally’s. It’s not just about the return policy; it’s about the principle of honoring a commitment and providing basic customer assistance. I had expected a certain standard of service but this incident has left me questioning their professionalism and customer-centric values. I hope that this feedback serves as a constructive critique and that this location takes serious steps to improve their in-store customer service and return processing protocols. No customer should have to go through such a disappointing and frustrating ordeal. Based on the other negative reviews, I’m not holding my breath. This store is clearly a horrible place to shop. Go to Scarborough or Whitby instead.
Today around 3pm, I went into Sally’s hoping to find some advice on which product would work for my hair. Instead, I witnessed incredibly sickening behaviour by 3 employees. As I arrived, I got a hello from a lady stocking shelves near the entrance. After that, I was no longer acknowledged throughout my visit. I was browsing the shampoo and conditioner, which is placed by the check out counter. I was about to ask an employee for their help but I stopped. 3 employees were at the counter on their phones, gossiping with each other; showing each other pictures of someone. These 3 employees agreed among themselves, that this person was,“hideous” because of, “her eyebrows.” I was absolutely appalled as I was right beside them, and the lack of care as they loudly insulted someone’s appearance is inappropriate. Especially a workplace within the beauty industry. That behaviour and attitude is truly disgusting. I no longer felt comfortable to ask a question and decided to quickly check out and leave. I could hardly look the cashier in the face. If that’s how you’re openly talking about someone on your phone, then you’re certainly talking about your customers. I didn’t receive a, “Did you find everything okay?” or, “How are you?” These employees are simply too worried about gossiping than doing their job. I’ve never had a terrible experience at this location. But as of recently, the high school mean girls has made the store unbearable to shop at. I’d rather make the trip to the scarborough location, as the staff are nothing but helpful. Management, please make sure your employees know they’re at work, not brunch.
