They honestly don’t do the best job ie road tar or bug removal but you get what you pay for. When those spots are made aware to the washers they make you feel like you are putting them out of their way. $15 for an outside wash.♂️
When in for an in and out wash. Car was still not dried and no tire shine. Paid with a 50 dollar he try to give me 5 dollar change. I had to ask him no tire shine car still wet and you telling for a Honda accord 40? He kindly reach in his money bag and gave me another 10..seems like the service at this place has gone from bad to worst.
I had my Jeep Cherokee washed and vacuumed here today and I am pleased as pie! The staff are friendly and very attentive to small details. I would recommend this hand wash to anyone! Thank you for the wonderful service!
This place is quick & convenient (no appointment necessary) and much more affordable than everyone else. I thought they should've at least washed the car mats properly, but all they did was a quick spray-down... But you get what you pay for I guess, so don't expect any serious interior detailing here.
MONEY STOLEN!!! I’ve been a loyal customer of Mr. Shine for years, but after my most recent experience, I will never return and I strongly urge others to stay away. I brought my car in for a full interior and exterior cleaning, and when I got it back, money was missing from inside my vehicle. This is absolutely unacceptable. There’s no excuse for theft, especially from a business you’ve trusted for years. The lack of accountability and professionalism is shocking. If this can happen to a regular customer, it can happen to anyone. I’m beyond disappointed and feel completely violated. I will be telling everyone I know to steer clear of Mr. Shine. Trust is everything, and they’ve lost mine for good.
The workers are lazy. I had to keep pointing out parts of my car that weren’t washed. Staff is friendly. But this location is busy, maybe that’s why the cars aren’t washed properly. I prefer the Pickering location. No complaints there!! I’ll continue to go to the Pickering location. Both are owned by the same person
I had an absolutely terrible experience at Mr. Shine Car Wash in Ajax yesterday evening around 5 PM. The place was completely empty, so I expected decent service, but it turned out to be the worst car wash experience I’ve ever had. From the very beginning, they showed no care for my car. They placed my dirty, salt-covered winter mats directly on my alcantara leather seat without a second thought. Even after pointing it out, their attitude didn’t improve. The door panels were left covered in water droplets, the seats were wet and not wiped properly, and the mats were still dirty. I had to repeatedly ask them to clean areas they were supposed to handle, but the staff acted rude and grumpy, as if I was asking for something extra. To make things worse, there’s a sign outside the bay that says they aren’t responsible for any damage caused during their service. That’s absolutely unacceptable. For $35, even as their cheapest hand wash option, I expected at least basic care and effort. Instead, they rushed through the job in 10 minutes with zero attention to detail or customer satisfaction. I’ve heard good things about Mr. Shine’s Pickering location from a friend in the car community, so I may give that one a try, as well as the Oshawa location. Hopefully, they don’t disappoint me the way Ajax did. However, I can confidently say the Ajax location is the worst of all, and I will never return. If you’re looking for a better option, I recommend Black Star Car Wash instead. Their $45 + tax package might be $10 more, but it’s worth every penny. They take their time (about 40 minutes), use shampoo, and genuinely care about your car. Save yourself the frustration and avoid Mr. Shine Ajax entirely.
