Visited the Ajax location two days ago and purchased quite a few items—our bill was over $150. After reaching home, we rechecked everything and noticed one item was charged incorrectly. Considering it was a manual billing process and we had a lot of items, mistakes can happen. When we returned to the store today to address the issue, the person at the counter insisted that we bring everything back or that we should have checked the bill on the spot. We tried explaining that it was a large purchase and it wasn’t practical to verify every item immediately. It was just a $2 item, but the lack of understanding and poor customer service was really disappointing. We ended up leaving without resolving the issue. Really pathetic experience — I’ve never faced anything like this before. Definitely expected better.
This store is very clean and alot of items, but at times I found I got lost as the aisles don't always run the same way, maybe you need to make them user friendly, also found many items to be highly prices, not considered a Dollar Store at all.
My niece loves to come here after school. The place has a lot of plushies and toys for kids, along with assorted stuff that you normally find in a dollar store. Awesome and friendly staff!
Most of the stuff there is from alibaba/aliexpress and sold for a mark up of double and even triple the price. Its greedy. Not a dollar store nothing there is for a dollar.
I've shopped at this location in Ajax numerous times since its opening. The various goods are quite a bit better and the prices quite reasonable. I just bought 2 x 3 metre LED Strip lights for my stairswell. Looks great.
Geraldine was very with helping me find the correct reading glasses more than once over the past year as she always is when I come into the store, they have a wide range of items and I feel that it's a better store than Dollarama, but Geraldine always helps me out and I appreciate it very much and the store is worthwhile going into have a look many different things than you would find at other dollar stores!
Bought a lightening to headphone jack adapter and it’s not even working! Sold a defective product not worth the 6.00 I spent and even saw a cup for $18 save you’re money and go somewhere else
