Really nice experience! The restaurant was clean, the washroom was very clean. The service was amazing; I got greeted as soon I came into the restaurant, the cashier was great when I wad ordering, and she even came to me while I was eating to check that everything was good. And, of course, the food was amazing, as is usually with Edo. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!
Some items are good and some aren’t. Overall it’s good for a quick bite, chicken teriyaki, but if you are in the mood for Japanese food then there are better options in Durham.
Love Edo’s teriyaki chicken bowls. Always tastes fresh and delicious. The veggies are always cooked perfectly. I am a big fan of their sushi, I like to update to the bento box. The only complaint I have is the pricing, it is a bit on the pricey side, $21 and change for a bento box, but it’s I guess a healthier option that other fast food places. Always like eating here every now and then.
Not allergy friendly, walked in as they were picking the mushrooms off my meal, which they refired because I told them I was allergic… but what if I didn’t walk in at that moment.
Really like the food but based on numerous recent orders, the quantity of food they give has consistently been reduced. Even if extra meat is ordered, the food container is not nearly full. It always used to be, and never is now which makes me think it is intentionally done. Unfortunately, with the price of the dishes, it's not worth it now.
My wife loves Edo Japan and we didn't realize there was one not.to far from us! First time at the Ajax location. Has 4 bento boxes for the whole family. Everyone enjoyed the food which was hot and fresh. service was prompt and very helpful and polite too! A great option to get away from burgers, pizza, and fries chicken. Both or teenage boys who at first were iffy on it ended up taking us and saying they'd eat here all the time!
I’ve always ordered from Edo Pickering & they have the best teriyaki sauce. I was so happy to see a location open closer to where I live! I just sent in an order and it was packaged so nicely, and carefully! It also included a free complimentary desert which is was such a nice surprise. I will def be ordering from here a lot more & I recommend to anyone looking for a good chicken/broccoli teriyaki bowl! I’m salivating writing this review just thinking about it, everyone check this place out!!!!!!!!
