Let me tell you something about this hidden gem located in Ajax . This wing spot serves wonderfully authentic Korean chicken. The taste alone has consistently surpassed my expectations on each visit. I don’t think people realize just how difficult it is to produce a recipe with the same amazing taste and texture, each any every time. Our favourite flavours are BBWings and Mala Hot. The staff are attentive and efficient, constantly ensuring you are comfortable and attended to. If you’re looking for quality food at a reasonable price, bbq chicken in Ajax is the place you need to be. You won’t be disappointed!
I have ordered bbq chicken on DoorDash and driver was told it would be ready in ten minutes and he almost waited an hour. I wanted to give them another chance and went in person and I have almost been waiting an hour with no food OR apps
The chicken is not crispy at all, feels very wet and oily so the experience was underwhelming. From the two flavors we ordered (Galbi Q and Secret Sauce) one sauce was okay, but the other one was pretty disappointing.
drov an hour and a half to try the Korean bbq they have advertised we did a reservation but they didn’t take us due to a mistake on their part. The lady on the phone misunderstood Kbbq with BBQ chicken somehow.. even thought the patio was half empty we were told they can’t seat us since their reservations are full, even though it was miscommunication on their end they did not care. We left hungry and disappointed. Other people in the restaurant had a similar experience and were forced to order their regular fried chicken.
I came in today in the evening on Friday with 2 of my friends. We called ahead to place 3 separate orders, each being boneless chicken with fries and dip. We forgot to mention the boneless combo however, which changed everything. We come in to pick up our order, and the employee at the counter gave us a receipt with boneless chicken being $24 and fries and dip being $9, each separated. I noticed it, and told the employee that we wanted the boneless combo which is $19.5. This combo has the exact same things we ordered, but it is just more inexpensive. However, the employee had it listed as individual items. The employee says that they cannot change it and cannot do anything about it. We asked them a few times but they said no. They were nice and patient about it, so we trusted them that they could not do anything. Unfortunately, it came down to them taking off 1 fries and dip of my order, and my friends agreeing to pay for their chicken+fries and dip. I had to pay $27 after tax and my friends paid $37 after tax. My friends and I were incredibly frustrated with this. Having to pay $27 and $37 rather than only $22 each is ridiculous, especially when we are college students. After we picked it up, we went to a place about 5 minutes away to eat at a picnic table. TO TOP IT ALL OFF, when we were taking out the food from the bag, there were NO UTENSILS. You can see in the picture. The disrespect is absolutely crazy!! But don’t get me wrong about the food. It is absolutely amazing. But terrible service.
Happy to have another korean fried chicken place in this area. Chicken is very crispy and tasty. Friendly service. Prices are average in my opinion as I've seen other chicken places that cost even more. My only concern is the front parking is kind of tricky since it's next to a street of oncoming traffic, making it difficult to back-in or back-out of the spot.
My love for Korean Fried Chicken has taken me from the West to the East end of the GTA to Ajax where I came across an underrated Korean Fried Chicken and BBQ restaurant that not only has some of the nicest staff but also the best freshly made Halal Korean Fried Chicken you can have in the GTA! It's also reasonably priced so I think a short trip to Ajax is all you need to fulfil your Korean Fried Chicken cravings!? ⚠️Only their Ajax location is Halal and they source their chicken from Iqbal Foods.
