My kids love the children section, filled with kid friendly stuff, also a few screen games. Children were busy there, enjoyed alot and can't wait to go back.
I frequently visit this place with one of the kids I work with, and today, the older librarian approached me with a highly disrespectful attitude. Without any valid reason, she demanded that I move from the section I was sitting in as well as questioning me. Instead of focusing on me, she should be more concerned with the strong odor and the individuals openly drinking and using drugs on the other side. Her behavior was absolutely unacceptable.
A welcoming place, no matter who you are. I love seeing all sorts of people when I visit: students, seniors, kids... there's something for everybody. The place is clean, safe, organized, spacious and well lit. The upper floors are great for quiet work/study. Wifi is fast. There are games, comic books, a play space for kids, Blu Ray/DVDs, audiobooks, 3D printing and more.
Was really bored last Friday so decided to check out the library. Haven’t been to this place since I was a small yute and needed a new game to play on my switch (I’m broke) The person at the desk was really nice and even came over to help me look for some games to borrow. Great customer service and I can tell she’s dreadfully underpaid. No idea how she does it but whatever.
I am very happy to live close to the main branch of Ajax Public Library. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Always there to answer a question or to explain how to use the application for borrowing an ebook. When I wanted a specific book I got it through interlibrary request. I have been used with Toronto Public Library, where the process was very easy for getting what I needed. This is why here, in Ajax, it matter very much how helpful the librarians are. Here they are wonderful! A plus: there is a specific entrance and a specific exit. So, please, come to this location without concern. I also add the cleanliness of all spaces too. Great place to spend the time, or to borrow books.
Amazing little jewel of Durham region with tons of books on so many different interests. Very well organized, well kept, clean and quiet place. Staff is always there to help whenever you need.
Great service. Nice staff. Facilities are nice too. I go there to study and most of the time it is quiet ,but kids running tho is pretty horrible. All in all, can't blame the library.
