I have been staying at this hotel for a few days and i can honestly say I won't be back. Some of the employees are rude, they didn't change my bedding. There was a lady outside everyday calling me and multiple others obnoxious and degrading names, I had complained to the front desk multiple times but nothing had been done about it. The pool was warm and filthy, it smelled like I was in a fish tank. Last but definitely not least the hot tub was basically like sitting in a pot of almost boiling water! P.s. if you have more then 2 people staying in your room and would like to bring coffee tea or breakfast back to your room. DO NOT USE YOUR TRAY! The ladies do not approve and won't be nice about it.
Beyond some little maintenance issues, (ie: the grout on the bathroom wall and leaking air conditioner) this hotel checked all the boxes. The rooms were huge and clean (except the grout) and the staff were so happy! During my trip and the several hotels Ive stayed at this one had the best service and coziest beds. I wish I took photos of the room; the rooms were immaculate and decorated with class. Have you ever seen parking for veterans? This was a first and it made me proud
Location is nice, just a min or 2 away from the 401. The renovations they've made at Super 8 have been great!. Nice open concept in the lobby with a big screen tv, fireplace, Mac desktop computer and wireless printer. They've upgraded all rooms with laminate flooring. I had the pleasure of staying in the king size suite. Bed was comfortable and it also had a pull out bed. Will definitely be back the next time I'm visiting Ajax.
The staff was great! Very helpful when we had a minor problem (our fault). They addressed our issue quickly and with pleasure. We came with a large group with kids and they were easy going and didn't mind our kids being a big louder than they are probably used to (within reason). Breakfast was okay. The pool was small but our kids had a blast in it. Will use them again when in the area.
We stayed at this hotel during the summer on a vacation. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Kids loved the pool. I was super happy to see the Go station was a short distance from the hotel, so it made travelling to downtown Toronto very easy. The next morning we headed for breakfast and were amazed at the selection as many hotels we have previously stated in didn't offer quite so much choice. Check in and check out were very smooth and quick. Within a few blocks, there is shopping and food of every option. When we returned home to Ottawa, we shared with everyone how happy we were with the hotel and recommend others stay here when travelling. We will be booking with them on out next adventure.
