I've been over half the official Ajisen chain locations though the world, this place stays on par with the quality we expect from this franchise. This was our 3rd visit here and the food was on point. The staff have always been pleasant and the atmosphere is as expected.
Pretty disappointed with this. Had the Karage Ramen. The chicken quality is not good and the fat hasent rendered. The noodles also taste cheap and cooked in water that is over salted. The egg needs to marinate longer.
I’ve been to other Ajisen locations multiple times and enjoyed the food, this was no different; it was good. However, really disliked the server’s service. My group was waiting quite a while for our food so we asked one time how much longer it would take, but after we asked and got our food, servers asked us “Is everything good?” literally every 2 minutes, no exaggeration. Around three servers would take turns asking every 2 minutes and it got annoying fast. Felt like they wanted us to leave, when we asked for the bill, all three servers were hovering around us.
I wanted to share my recent experience at the Ajisen Ramen location in Ajax. I had heard from others that this location wasn’t as strong as the others, but I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt and decided to place a pick-up order. I called at 7:23 p.m. and was told the order would be ready in 20–25 minutes. I arrived at 7:45 p.m. and waited for about five minutes without anyone acknowledging me, despite there being three servers present. There were also two other customers waiting. After waiting, I approached the back counter, and the staff member I spoke to was quite dismissive. When I said I was there for a pick-up order and provided the name, she simply said it would be another five minutes. I returned to wait near the entrance, but after an additional 15 minutes with no update, I approached the counter again. I was told the order was still not ready. When the order was finally ready, I was asked to pay. I requested a receipt, and the staff member tossed it onto the counter in a rude and unprofessional manner. This was genuinely one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. The attitude and lack of basic courtesy from the staff were disappointing, and I don’t believe this level of service is acceptable for being in the customer service industry.
First time here and the food was honestly so good. Lucy’s service was excellent and made the whole experience even better. You have to try their Tom Yum. I’ll definitely be back.
Went with a co-worker that's been before, and I'm so happy he took me cause this place is so good !! Fresh and the flavor is to die for. The people who work with in the place are all wonderful, so kind! The shots came in a cute box lol. Busy place! Gets packed quick but got lucky and got a seat before the rush!!
Today: Was given wrong broth for spicy chicken, inadequate amount of broth.. In the past: Consistently feels like ramen is lacking something. Very different experience than what you would receive at any other Ajisen in the GTA.
