First time buying and laying sod.Staff were very helpful with tips and advice. Very happy with the results. Only did 150 sq feet but it looks fabulous.
I installed sod from Wintermere about 5 years ago, I have used their top soil, Kentucky blue grass seed and fertilizer schedule since then and I am so happy with the results. I aerated once 2 years ago. The staff are the best, my wife thinks I call them more than I call her, and they have always been so knowledgeable and helpful about timings for seeding and fertilizing. They are in tune with weather forecasts and how the grass will respond. The best.
Best sod, seed and lawn maintenance products around! I used some of their seed to fix a bare area in my backyard last fall, from having an above ground pool, then a trampoline, and after just a few weeks into spring, and with one application of their fertilizer, the seeded area looks better than the already existing grass I have around it. But it's all growing like crazy! Lol I only wish I wasn't as conservative with the seed as I was when I applied it. Either way, what was bare ground a few months ago, looks great now!

My back yard was a travesty. I went to Windermere and asked some questions, they gave me some instructions and tips on how to lay the sod properly...now my yard is staring to look like I paid someone to do it for me. I would definitely recommend these folks! Also, a roll of sod here is half the price of Home Depot...just saying.
I recently purchased sod for my backyard. It was the best sod I ever bought. It was so green and fresh, I was told it is cut every morning. The ladies in the office were very helpful. The comment below regarding builders crap, is so untrue I think he is confused with where he/her bought his sod from. I would recommend everyone to buy this sod, you won't be let down.
