Great little restaurant. Very unassuming, from the looks of it, but every dish we have had is spot on. We've been coming here for a few months now and they are very consistent with their quality of food and service. The Banana leaf wrapped chicken parata bangs every time.
Their hours are so random and runs out of things often. Food was ok but they confuse customers. One day an item will be there, next day all from that menu list is unavailable. They decide to close 1 hr earlier than the listed time and wouldn't serve even a paratha. Very disappointing.
I recently ordered the Chicken Valai Ilai Parotta and Biryani, and the experience was truly remarkable. The dishes were prepared with authentic flavors that immediately reminded me of dining in Madurai, capturing the essence of traditional South Indian cuisine. Had good food, service, and much more. But, the price is very costly. Also, they don't give the parottas separately. You can only get parotta with something else. It honestly doesn't make sense :(
My favourite place for “Madurai” food. Chicken kili parotta and chicken biryani are a must try. Thanks to karthick anne for delivering my request at time. I love this place.
Food Poisoning - I was a regular customer of this restaurant for the past 6 months because of the taste. But I had a horrible experience two days back. I got a Killi parota for dinner on Thursday and got food poisoning the next day. The whole weekend was spoiled because of this. I know most of the cooking happens in the afternoon in the restaurant but why would you sell stale food. To save $30 of revenue your restaurant lost a regular customer and a lifetime of earning. Concentrate on the quality of the food and don't sell stale stuff.
We had a horrible experience today. We pre-ordered for 1 chicken biryani and 1 mutton Briyani. But when we went to pick up the food they said it is over and some one took the order in our name. My kid was hungry and they destroyed our whole Sunday lunch plan.. We will never ever visit your shop again. They did not even regret for their mistake.
