I called the store to see if they had an item and was left on hold for so long. Finally someone came back and it was obvious that he was too busy doing something else than to help me. I asked him if they had a specific item in store and he says that the only way he could know if they had it in store was to check the product number online. The item I was looking for did not seem to be online but only other colours. I saw this product at the store earlier this week. Then he told me to hold on so I waited about 10 seconds and he rudely goes "do you have the item number yet". Turns out he does not have the product or seem to even know what it is. You would think that the reason someone transferred me to a different department, is because they are educated in their product. Further, I would not buy from this store. They do not even greet you when you go in.

Part of large retail congregate...along with Canadian Tire and Mark's and is no longer a true sports store. Selection is for mass consumer market and fashion, and is not focused on athletics, plus staff have little to no expertise. All the store has done is kill smaller more specialized sport stores and created a retail monopoly, with online the only alternative. Damn shame!!

I came looking for some Nike sweatpants and Tyler was more than helpful, assisting me with a fitting room and checking to find my correct size. He went out of his way to call another location to find my size and even put the pants on hold for me. He was very kind, nice to talk to add an efficient worker. More than satisfied with my experience!!

Excellent customer service from James, Kaly and Emily, keep up the great work. I was able to get a bathing suit for my daughter very quickly, I was greeted at the door and then great service thereafter. Thanks!

It was a great experience visiting the Sport Check, Ajax. Great selection of footwear - amazing choices! Abi was very helpful and proactive in assisting us to select the right kind of running shoes I was looking for. Will definitely visit again.

The short man with black hair was very helpful I was able to find the shoes I needed in the perfect size. The hijabi cashier was very lovely I had a nice conversation with her. Excellent employees!

Went there to sharpen my skates. They did them quick and the guy was knowledgeable and friendly and did them within 15 minutes.

Patrick, one of the managers, was awesome! Made a complex return that I had easy and simple. Worked with me as I had misplaced my receipt and took the time to listen. Exceptional experience. I felt appreciated as a client. Thank you!

Today I went to Sport Chek to fix my daughter's bike. Jay the technician had great advice and explained that the bike I had was too small. He took the time to answer all my questions and help me pick out a bike that was more suitable for her age and height. Thank you very much Jay. I really appreciate all of your help and patience. I will continue to bring my kids bike here. Best customer service ever. I would recommend this bike repair shop to family and friends.

Staff are not approachable. I was looking for staff to ask something about their Fitbit Activity Tracker but cant find one. The staff I asked said he will come back but didnt. The 3 stars are for lots of stocks to choose from and they have 14day no question ask policy.

Great selection of items, but the staff is not knowledgeable on simple things like the retun policy on items. Employees have headsets they use to communicate with their managers & other employees; and when an employee wanted to verify what their exchange and return policy is, no one replied back. I told her don't to worry about it and that I would ask the cashier. I was told that men's swim wear was final sale and even if I was buying as a gift (for Father's day) there's nothing they can do. I understand it's policy, but have your employees know about these type of things to avoid bigger delays. I found it really strange that they only had two cashiers were working and a manager and another employee were just cleaning behind the cash but no one could respond when the other employee needed assistance or even help out the line of 8 plus people behind me. This just goes to show you how disorganized they are and the lack of training their employees have.
