Clerk could not explain promotions effectively. Was not interested in showing me products and did not care to serve me. It was unwelcoming and I will not shop here again
I met Craig from the store on Feb. 25/2025, and the customer service experience was awesome! I would definitely recommend this location for your workout/protein/nutritionally needs.
I came two days in a raw because of the Black Friday deals. First day everything went very well and smoothly. I knew what I wanted so it was pretty straightforward. Second day I brought a friend and convinced him to get some stuffs there because of the great deals. He was indecisive and needed support. So, some employees were adorable and explained a few things as well as recommended what to get. Anyway we came to the cashier and unfortunately of the product was not a ‘buy 1 and get the 2nd one 50% OFF’ but buy 1 and get the 2nd free. So, it messed up a bit our calculation and we needed to get something else but we weren’t sure what. We took a bit of time (not even a full minute without exaggerating), and accepted to still buy the product and get the second one free as well with a few other little things. The we got offered a shaker or other stuffs because of the amount spend. My friend was it’s first time in a Popeyes so he was looking at the free stuffs to get. And because he didn’t answer right away the cashier gave such an attitude!!! Ok, I understand there was another client on the line just behind us but it’s still not a reason to show off some annoyance. Anyway he got the 1/2 gallon bottle water that doesn’t even offer a straw inside! Not sure if it should have one but the previous day I got a smaller shaker and got a straw included. Anyway, there are so many Popeyes supplements around and not far so I would not care to not come back in Ajax! And will give my business in another one just because of that lady. Even the previous day she was not the friendliest but luckily I knew exactly what I needed so no problem has happened but saw her annoyance with the customer in front of me. Which shouldn’t happen neither. I really hope she isn’t the manager because it sucks. Not a friendly environment for new customers (maybe it was just us that was unlucky because of the other nice reviews). Protein or whey: could be good deals. Other supplements like magnesium for example, not worth it all, expensive. Parking: easy to parking, always got a spot even getting around in the other stores.
Really knowledgeable and friendly staff here! Great variety of supplements to choose from and great prices as well. Definitely coming here for my supplement needs.
Just walked into this place, and a short stubby sales rep was with another customer (a male), it's not unusual to not acknowledge another customer when dealing with one already so I didn't mind when he didn't greet me as I walked in. He continued to speak to his current customer, mind you there were only the 3 of us in store. I decided to browse and wait for him to finish before asking my question. This gentleman walked directly in front of me to grab something and show to the previous customer and didn't so much as say excuse me. He didn't acknowledge me AT ALL. I laughed to myself and said you definitely lost a customer under my breath. This location will not be getting my business. I don't want to make this a race situation...but perhaps that short guy "doesn't see colour" or women beings and perhaps shouldn't be working there. I've come in before and a tall white male helped me out and was very kind. Please train some staff on customer service.
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and will go the extra mile to help. It's obvious how customer oriented the staff are and it keeps me coming back and recommending the store to others. No other place to go to get your sups.
The staff were very informative and I was able to get exactly what I needed with the knowledge behind each product. I would absolutely recommend Popeyes to anybody who is in need of proper supplementation!
