Such a lovely experience at this cozy cafe! The customer service was so warm and friendly. I tried one of their holiday menu items, the gingerbread latte. I also was recommended to try their oat fudge bar. Everything was delicious. This cafe is perfect for a catch up with friends or a solo date, which is what I did. That oat fudge bar was divine, I wish I got two haha. Paid $11 for items pictured. Would definitely come back here!
New to the area, decided to go for a walk and check out the shops on Old Kingston Road...if you're looking for a dentist, this is the spot Ajax! Sorry, back to coffee...lol On gloomy but super happy "move in day", I hit a wall and decided to check out the area I literally perked up as soon as the welcoming smell of brewing coffee hit my nose! The coffee was fantastic, its didn't even make it back to my office. I almost didn't want to go back to unpacking...a cozy writing spot, might have just been found :) plus you can do some light shopping of unique gifts/books...I love finding hidden gems! A note to the team: Michelle, your kind gesture in welcoming me to the block, sure made a girl feel the support! Thank-You. S.
Charming cafe with some seating, and some local products. Two level flooring with stairs. They also run some events in there. We came by at the end of one of those events. We got some drinks, and looked around the products display. Very friendly. They have Babyccino drink, a bit of the frothed up milk from a regular (adult) beverage, free for the little ones. So thoughtful to have the little ones feel included with drink in hand! My daughter enjoyed hers.
I randomly stopped by on my way to an appointment and I’m so glad I did. Omggg one of the best lattes I have EVER had. I tried their maple latte and the flavor is absolutely rich and not too much! I LOVED it. I wish I lived closer because I’d be getting my daily coffee from here. They also have cute little items that they sell inside so I got a beeswax candle :)
One of my favourite spots to visit and work from. Michelle and her team cultivate a great environment and are such a blessing to our community. I love that Bean & Basket offers vegan food options (shoutout to Kind Bakehouse) and a variety of very cool vendors to browser while you're in the shop.
The place is nice and cozy. Wish they had a little bit more variety of desserts or croissants to have with your coffee. Not as many choices. The caramel latte was delicious though.
This place was really, really busy when I met a friend there at 11am on a Friday. We sat outside on the little patio which was perfect for us - quiet, so we could chat. I had a delicious iced vanilla latte and my friend had a hot tea latte. Cute spot, friendly staff, yummy coffee. Next time I'll try one of their treats, too. I wanted to check out the handmade displays, as I was debating asking if they are accepting new vendors but it was so busy we just scrambled for a seat. Another time... I'll go back.
