I bought this service andI would never recommend using this service! I asked for some advice and the lawyer said there was a conflict. so they would refer me to another lawyer. $ weeks went by and no response. My office manager who is an authorized user of the service sent in a cancellation as per their policy and they emailed us back and said we had to call in to cancel. I called in to cancel and you cannot cancel over the phone as per Raleen. I asked for a Manager and after being on the phone for over 9 minutes Jane got on the phone. Told me I had to email or fax cancellation. Very frustrating and not helpful at all. I have now sent a cancellation by email and fax. My guess is it will not get cancelled but we shall see. AVOID this company!!!!!! Gong show for service and gong show to cancel!!
I need to cancel my account and end my subscription to LegalShield. I've just found I'm still being charged for your service. I was illegally evicted from my home in December, and this service was purely useless in helping me with my legal problems. I was informed by a legal aid lawyer that I was misinformed by your lawyers. This misinformation has caused me to become homeless and without money for months. The letter sent by mills and mills was beyond useless; it had the wrong dates and multiple spelling mistakes.I think this service is a complete lie, I cannot believe they're allowed to operate in Canada. The concept is fantastic, but their execution is terrible.Send me a PM if you want to see the letter sent by mills and mills; it looks like school children tried to copy and paste smart words together.DO NOT PAY FOR LEGALSHIELD, IT WILL NOT HELP YOU. It has only been detrimental to my life, it will only be a detriment to yours.I copied some of this from my LegalShield chat support, they wouldn't cancel my membership for me easily, so I'm leaving negative public reviews as a consequence. Thank online chat support agent Brittany for her lack of effort.
