When i ended my retainer, it was drained by Jeffery. There was no balance in my account. On the contrary, I was double charged for numerous items and finally it was written off. Jeffery said he could not get a judgement in my name. That is why i left. I did not leave before a judgement was made! PLEASE! Get your facts straight! Jeffery was so rude to me when he called to tell me my case was denied. This man has no empathy. Since I take pride in the money i earn, i was very upset Jeffery lost my slam dunk case. So you ADMIT to pulling up my name in future court proceedings without my consent? I do believe you are in a position of fraud now. I think you should now clarify why and who authorized any information on me being reviewed by your office after i left ? hummm... Jeffery was fired and you don't have the right to retrieve my information. Fraud now! wow! You are something else. By the way, I did hire new council and I turns out I didn't need a court order to get my truck back. I did not say i obtained a court order in my original message. I simply said i won my case. Now you just cant read which doesn't surprise me really. The answer was simple and Jeffery wasted my time and $5000, !!!!. *******************************I hired Jeffrey Robles of Riley & Partners to get a truck back from my ex who took it due to a relationship break down. The Loan was in my name and the vehicle registration was in my ex's and he stopped making payments for 6 months. In my attempt to save my credit before the truck gets re-possessed I needed a court order for my ex to return the truck to me for the purpose of paying out the loan. Jeffrey took my $5000 to go to the supreme court in Oshawa. Jeffery led me on that he could get my ex served (which his process server could not locate him) and win this case in my favor. Unfortunately, the judge disagreed and told us there was a lien on the truck from the bank and they cannot order my ex to return the truck to me. The Judge and my lawyer were completely out to lunch as this was the wrong decision and Jeffery did not represent my case clearly enough for the judge to understand. Therefore, I Fired Jeffrey and he tried to double charge me when i asked for my file back. He charged me for parking when i got dropped off. He purposely leaves out important details and waits until you call or email him with the question. Then he ignores you for a few more times, then he charges you for reviewing your previously ignored inquires!! This Lawyer is a thief!!! . He has numerous hidden charges that he hides until he drains your retainer account. For me, the good news is, I have since hired new council and i finally won my case and i got my truck back !!! Jeffery cost me 5000$ for nothing!! And the stupid judge in Oshawa was so wrong! I do not recommend Jeffery to anyone!! He clearly doesn't have experience with my type of case when he said he could do it, no problem. I also work for a large Financial Institution who had Jeffrey on our employee referral list. I requested this lawyer to be removed for our referral list. If i could have ZERO stars I would choose a big fat ZERO for Jeffrey!
