I've been going here for almost 2 years now, considering there is not many bubble tea stores in my area, this is the only one readily available and closest to me that isn't a 20 minute drive. I was receiving minimal service to the point I was going to leave a review about my experience. However, today (I'm guessing a new worker- not too sure but I haven't met her before!!) gave me the best experience. She was especially sweet and very welcoming, making conversation with all the customers- myself included, obviously. Keep up the great work Hayley and I hope she and the other staff continue to make everyone's day better!!
My husband ordered for take way and it wasn't full. I am obsessed with milk tea and I expect to get what we paid for -- a full cup, not less because every drop counts. My husband is too nice to say something. If I was there I would've addressed it on the spot.
Owner really was helpful as I came back 30 minutes later to get a different flavour of a drink, and he was super nice and didn’t hesitate to get me a new drink. 100% would recommend
My drink cover was not properly sealed. So when i shaked it, a lot splattered on me. This is not my regular store but this happened to me twice only in this store. Maybe next time im going to shake it while in the store so they can clean up not me.
Disappointing Experience We arrived at Chatime with a group of about 12 people at 9:30 PM, not knowing the store closed at 10 PM. However, the experience was far from welcoming. The two employees working that evening looked visibly unhappy to see us and made it clear they didn’t want us there. All the chairs were stacked on top of the tables, so we couldn’t even sit down to enjoy our drinks properly. To make matters worse, their service was incredibly rude. While we were still drinking our bubble teas on a nearby bench, they turned off the lights at 9:45 PM, leaving us no choice but to leave before the posted closing time. We understand wanting to wrap up at the end of a shift, but this was an unacceptable way to treat customers. Absolutely disgusted with the lack of professionalism and courtesy.
Bake code cakes. I liked their Twice baked Rare Cheese tart so wanted to try others. Taro mousse cake, Japanese cheesecake, Mille crape, and black sesame Swiss roll. Taro and Black sesame were good. Mille crape has custard cream instead of Whipping cream little too sweet for me. We hope that Matcha Mille crape that they used to sell at this location comes back! Went back to get our favorite twice baked rare cheese tart after dinner. Always great!
I’ve been to many chatimes and this one is one of the better locations. The staff are friendly and of course, the bubble tea is up to standard with the other chatimes I’ve visited. It’s not yet a five star since they’re still a bit slow at making drinks but I’m sure over time their timing will get better! But overall I’m very happy and excited that they arrived in ajax now! :D EDIT: changed to 5 stars!
