Just tried for the first time , like the ambience however the customer service and quality is not worth. They don’t even have spoons , lol and the lady was offering us a used spoon which she washed it. This is how they want us to support local business.
First time here, came at 2:30pm Friday afternoon, I am the only customer. I ordered a oolong milk tea, large for $6.25. it's has absolutely no tea flavor. Although I can see she steep the tea leaves. Either it's not good quality tea leaves or not enough, whatever the reason, it has no tea flavor. The drink is just milky white.
Came in today at 4:30pm and the girl working said she’s new and not trained to do rolled ice cream and I needed to wait half an hour for the owners to come. Its a Saturday late afternoon and you guys don’t have people trained to do their job? Super weird, won’t be returning.
Not the typical bubble tea places. 98% of the time, I choose the Taro flavour for my bubble tea. Over here, it was surprising to see that the Taro isn't purple like all the other chains or even local ones. I guess they don't use the standard industrial ‘purple powder.’ To my surprise, their Taro (I would guess they used the natural root that it isn't purple…) tasted good. I took the one with coconut and asked if milk was added, but her answer was so confusing. They are a dairy free place so I didn't understand what make the coconut flavor. Then when the man was serving us I saw he added like a condensed coconut liquid. Never seen that before. Anyway, the drink was good but the man didn't seem very friendly. No smile, no word. Just dropped off the drink once done, no warning nothing. Another detail, they left their flyer in front of the cashier so I looked at it to choose my toppings… please note that the flyer is obsolete and the toppings were at least 10 cents more! I don't understand why they would leave the old flyer there and create misunderstandings.

The bubble tea isn’t quite as perfect as it used to be, but I’ll definitely visit again and give it another try. This time, I decided to give the Mango Grapefruit GT with pearls a try, following a staff recommendation based on the flavors I was craving. Once again, it did not disappoint! My partner opted for the Mango Juice with coconut jelly and pearls, and he thoroughly enjoyed it. We also appreciated that they let us bring our bikes in for safekeeping while we placed our orders. September 14, 2023 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I revisited the place yet again, and on this occasion, I decided to go for the recommended choice: the Treble Roasted Milk Tea with Grass Jelly, Pudding, and pearls. It marked my first venture into trying grass jelly and pudding, and I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed the combination. If you're in the mood to experiment with something different, I highly recommend giving this selection a try. My son, on the other hand, opted for the Coconut Milk Tea, and it was equally well-received, making it a definite winner. September 11, 2023 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I returned to Ice Babo for another refreshing experience. Today, I opted for my usual choice – the Honeydew bubble tea with tapioca pearls and litchi jelly. It was absolutely delightful! September 2023 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We've had the pleasure of visiting I.ce babo two days in a row now, and we've had a wonderful experience both times. The staff is incredibly friendly and provided us with some excellent recommendations. The drinks they serve are absolutely delicious. Personally, I couldn't resist ordering the Mango Smoothie with pearls on both visits, and my son tried the brown sugar milk tea with pearls. While waiting for your drinks to be prepared, you can also try your luck on their claw machine for a chance to win a stuffed toy. If you're in the area, I highly recommend making a stop here. It has quickly become one of my favorite spots to grab a refreshing drink. Just keep in mind that the accessibility door opener is currently not functional, but the staff at the establishment are more than willing to assist if needed.
Awful service, i recently ordered from ice babo ajax, and the boss was incredibly disrespectful. The quality of the food is very very cheap. They do not value your time or money. Recommend cha time or coco for actual bubble tea, good quality and good service. I would give a 0/5 if i could.
BEST BUBBLE TEA IN AJAX!! If you’re tired of the same old places, or want to try something new and delicious, Ice Babo is the place for you. Personally, their milk teas and slushes are my favourite, and the customer service perfectly reflects their amazing drinks!
