My vehicle is a 2016 Mazda CX-5 AWD. I had some leaks in my exhaust system. My regular mechanic and another exhaust specialist quoted me an exorbitant amount to replace the entire system, which for a vehicle with 285,000 km on it, I wasn't about to do. I'm only looking to get another year or so out of the vehicle. After some research, I stumbled across Hidden Performance & Exhaust in Ajax and paid them a visit today. They put my car up on the hoist, explained what they would do and quoted me a number much less than 10% of what the entire system replacement was valued at. The bonus - they were able to do the work immediately. I couldn't be happier with the results, and they're really nice guys as well. They advised me I may need some additional work in the near term, but I now know where to bring my car if that happens before I'm ready to part ways with it. Great job guys - I'll be recommending you to everyone!

I have the right to be upset here. I’ve been contacting them on Instagram for almost a month. Their response time isn’t the best but at least I was able to communicate with them. It was just slow like 1 message a day. They were willing to install my exhaust which I was greatly looking forward to and I booked an appointment with them a week prior. On the night before I had everything prepared UHAUL van rented to pick up my OEM one home. Everything loaded into the trunk. I texted them shortly after 10pm “see you tomorrow” then I get a fat message saying how their hoist failed and they are not going to be able to squeeze me in. They didn’t even apologize just told me they can’t squeeze me in. I wasn’t just mad but I was pretty annoyed because they didn’t tell me this earlier, matter in fact I had to contact them first 12 hours before my appointment for them to tell me this. They would’ve never told me, if I didn’t message. What if I showed up the next day everything It would be mess. This unprofessionalism shocks me. I was even referred by a good friend that this place is great and I wanted to give them some business and possibly work with them. But this is what I experienced. Now I am not saying they do bad exhaust jobs. They have great reviews which is one of the reason I was interested. However for me it has gone downhill. so I hope you guys can learn from this and improve your customer service and communication skills. Hopefully no one else will experience what I experienced.
THE place to go to for exhaust or any kind of performance work, the guys are not only good on the tools, but are honest decent people who would never upsell or overprice their products. These are not the same people as those who ran the shop in previous years. Came in for decal application and an exhaust check and not only did they apply the vinyl perfectly, they assured me my exhaust was in good working order. 100% trust my vehicle with these guys and will be back when it’s time for more exhaust work!
