Nice trail especially since it overlooks Lake Ontario.The trail has a lot of bikers but majority of them are very courteous with the trail.Also, it is pretty well maintained, clean and lots of park benches if you want to take in the views.
One of the best places to be to just chill and be yourselves. Been riding and walking this trail for many years. Other reviewers are. Prescription about their observations of being well maintained. Not a fantastic beach, but there is still access to the waterfront in many areas. There are superior beaches in other communities along Lake Ontario, but not many compare to such a variety of scenery, and lookouts as this stretch of trail. This town has done well to protect these open spandex for public use. Recent updates have included safety barriers, to protect from venturing too close to the eroding higher cliffs.
Great place to walk, run, bike or just sit and read. Wife and I enjoy the summer walks and the peacefulness in the mornings. Plus there's no repulsive smells coming from the lake like you get from other places near water.
Very clean waterfront trail, very nice layout and landscaping with a long trail for biking or talking an evening walk.There are many cyclists present on the average day, so be aware and ready to make way for them.Has some nice pit stop areas, where you can look at some flowery gardens, a modern stone henge type structure, and a commemorative monument. These small stops along the way make the walk very enjoyable.
It is a Wonderful beach. Properly maintained and cleaned. Best for scenic walk, jogging or even photo shoots. Car Parking is limited. You might have to park your vehicle a few hundred metres away from the park. There is no vending shops near the park. You might have to go 2 km north to get some coffee or water. So come prepared. Good for families, couples, children, cyclists n skaters.
