An unspoiled urban park. Lots of free parking. Many marked trails. Dog park in the NW corner accessible from Church St. The creek runs through it and many people let their dogs swim here and is very popular with dog owners/walkers. Very busy Saturday and Sunday.
I love taking my dog here. Greenwood is massive so to get to the off-leash dog park, take Church up past Taunton. Its soooo much better than many off-leash dog parks (which are a blessing!) because its not just a fences in yard. Its a portion of a large conservation area where you and your pup can go on a bit of a hike. Its wonderful!
One of my favourite conservation area's. Steep hills, beautiful look outs. The leaves are all ready changing color and the creek was full of salmon making their annual migration. It was an overcast day which kept people away. It was very quiet and I'm ok with that.
Amazing place to destress! Such splendid views and many paths/ trails to choose from. Very informative boards which educate on different native animals.I would highly recommend to take your family and pets on a walk. Such splendid place.
This place is crazy big lots of happy trees and people. Its busy but also so big you still have lots quiet alone moments to enjoy yourself in nature. Beautiful stream running thru and amazing lookout points thru out the park. Great conservation area indeed.
