A bit of a hidden gem really. We were riding the waterfront trail when we came across this place. I'm sure it's easy enough to get to by car, but just not somewhere you would probably go to if you didn't know it existed. We will definitely be back a few times this summer for a pic nic and the excellent views. The ride along the waterfront trail is nice and easy for most people without too many hills.
It's okay, busy with lots of cycling fools all over... be very careful if you bring your children. And watch out for all kinds of disgusting surprises around the beach and bush area. Other than that, views are nice.
Small park on the waterfront joins the water front trail. Nice location. Busy at times.
Beach is good for me and the dog. Not safe for swimming at this time. No facilities.
Just a few meters off the water front path this small man made beach has a sandy sitting/playing/tanning area. Sand doesn't go in to water its all rocks. Nice place for a picnic in the sun by the water. You also get a nice view of Toronto and the CN town from across the lake here. Across the street is a park and baseball diamond.
