I had a great experience here. Received a prompt quote and install date. The new tires I bought (Continental DWS 06+) were mounted, balanced, and installed within an hour. The date of manufacture on the tires was recent. I'll be back here when my other vehicle needs new tires.
I booked my appt in store with a friend who knows the owner. In error he booked the appt for October 23rd not November 23rd. I understand errors occur. I was not given an apology for their error and was told the rims are there but not the tires and the tires are no longer available from the manufacture. I was offered one option which she referred to as "standard" and advised me they are less money. No alternative tire(s) were suggested. She did not offer explanation of the difference(s). It was as if she did not care. This happened after standing there for some time. I decided to purchase the rims and go elsewhere based on the complete lack of customer service. I paid for the rims and stood there. The lady behind the desk said nothing. After a few minutes I told her I am waiting for the receipt so i can go out and prepare for the rims. Then she said she is having trouble printing the invoice. So simple just to let me know and she didnt. All of this could have been avoided if the business had called me to find out if I still wanted the tires and rims. For the appt I was required to leave a $100 deposit. They either sold the tires to another customer or sent them back. For the appt that was made in store weeks ago I pulled up the weather forecast and showed it to my friend and the owner who booked the appt. I want to ensure you are clear, the booking date was not an error on my part. I am a firm believer that businesses show their true strength when they are able to take ownership when they make an error. To make it right. This is not what happened today. Not even close. An apology and ownership of the mistake would have made all the difference. I am extremely disappointed and will not go back to this establishment. I am posting this in hope that my experience is the exception. If you go I hope yours is different.
Took me earlier than my appointment and had me in and out of their shop. Not a scratch on my rims and this is why i continue to come to Exclusive Wheel & Tire. 2-Dec-2025 Update Although I try not to need to visit EWT, picked up a nail in a summer tire just before getting my winter wheels checked for a slow leak. Keith had me in and out of the shop in record time! Great experience as usual.
