An older Shell gas station with the older model pumps. I was in and out. It was the day after a snowfall, but not much had been shoveled or cleaned off in the lot.
EDIT - October 31 sent customer service my receipts as proof and after ghosting my partner and I for weeks, Shell Corporate Customer Service has been COMPLETELY USELESS! They ended up just "closing" my case without addressing anything; no explanation, nothing. Corporate greed is clearly your company motto. What a DISGUSTING way to treat your customers. Haven't been back to a Shell station since this happened and I NEVER will again. EDIT - October 15 - so SHELL Corporate Head Office promised me a week ago that they would fix this problem with my bank, and they have made NO effort to date to give me my money back when the female attendant at this location even admitted her error to me. Absolutely shameful! You don't even care that you actually STOLE my money! I will insure ALL this experience is posted to social media. Shame on you Shell Canada. NOTE: I prepaid inside directly NOT at the pumps. HORRIBLE customer service.... DO NOT use the outer pumps 6 or 8. Today I prepaid via direct debit for $20 worth of gas and the pump turned off after only dispensing $2.07 worth of gasoline. When I went inside to tell the girl at the cash register, she said there was nothing she could do and that I would have to contact Shell head office to try and get my money back. She didn't even try to help me. CROOKS... you can take my money on the spot but when your staff and equipment malfunction, you blame the customer!! Shameful.... Also, the girl behind the cash told me AFTER the fact that the pump I was using had been broken the previous week and also said many very unpleasant, odd things that felt extremely unprofessional.
Price is cheap comparitively and i have a shell gas station like down the street 1min drive but preferred to go here as it saves me 8cents/liter and its worth when u pump full tank though 9mins drive from home which isnt too far for me..staff is good and friendly its actually a big gas station which only 8pumps altogether..
The people who work here look like their souls have died. Otherwise I’ve been coming here for nearly 20 years and I enjoy it. As I’ve aged they don’t seem to mind me taking my time to clean up my car at the pump so I appreciate that.
Really unhappy this time. They were advertising "free upgrade" to V-Power gas because they were out of Bronze and Silver. However, after pumping I realized that the upgrade was not free at all. I was charged the V-Power price, which was 20 cents more per litre. Complained to the staff on duty, who could not reach the manager and told me to come back later.
Arriving at this location after work one night around 4am I stopped in for a couple items. This location has a glass window to order thru. The gentleman (term used losely) stood in the middle of the store and yelled over "what do you want". After many unsuccessful attempt to yell back at him my order, I asked him to come to the window and talk to me. He then replied for me to F#&K OFF!! and mocked me by pointing and laughing. The owner is a very nice man and I have been going to this location for 10 yrs. It is very unfortunate that he has lost my business as well as others due to similar horror stories because of terrible night staff.
