“Scammers! Prepaid through the Petro-Canada app and when I got to the pump, it wouldn’t let me select regular gas. I had to waste time going inside and asking at the counter just to get what I already paid for. Feels like a shady tactic to upsell or inconvenience customers. Totally unacceptable.”
I have trouble walking (need a walker) and sure enough the pump can’t print out the Glide wash ticket and I’m supposed to walk ALL the way over from the farthest pump to and back from the cashier today. Very frustrating but at least the cashier came out to me with the receipt and ticket and saved me a lot of grief. Please keep paper well stocked in your machines, Petro Canada!
I had a disappointing experience at this location on April 30, 2025. I arrived around 11:45 PM to get gas, and the posted price was 129.9. After prepaying, I went to fill up, only to find that the price had suddenly changed to 136.9—even though it wasn’t midnight yet. The attendant changed the price at 11:50 PM. I don’t recommend stopping here for gas around midnight; it felt like a waste of both time and money.
What the hell is going on here. One guy is on the phone buying tickets. Another guy is staring out the window! Where is the customer service!?! Then I got to print a receipt and there no paper! And and ...the card reader are down on all the pumps! What?!?!?!
This is the worst car wash. I paid for the top car wash and at nearly $20 my car was still caked in dirt. I asked for a rewash and the guys questioned me a bit before giving me a new ticket at first saying they wanted to see my car then changing their mind. Lined up another 20 mins for rewash and still filthy. I didnt need more arguments and didn't have more time to waste so I took a towel to keep wiping it down. I have a truck but I am not offroading. Just trying to remove what built up after the storms last week from normal driving! Forgot to take a photo of the car but photo of towel with just some of the dirt I was still wiping off my bumpers and running boards.
Stopped to get gas and a car wash. Reg gas price was good. Car wash experience BAD. After using the glide wash before with successful results, this experience was bad as car was damaged after wash (note brushes have recently been replaced here according to previous sign at location). Damage to car included front license plate being bent 90 degrees (was a newer plate installed) and roof antenna broken (standard manufacturer antenna). Prior to new brushes being installed have used this location with no issues. While waiting in line the attendant did have to reset system as it appeared to be stuck, no one was advancing.
Every time we tried to use this station, their card readers on pumps never work and they say it’s policy of Petro Canada to prepay INSIDE!?I don’t have time to stand in line every time I need gas! Fix your card readers!!!
