Just wow. Went to lunch with my grandparents and suggested here instead of Swiss chalet based on the reviews. I'm very glad we made that choice. This is probably the best restaurant in Ajax. The food is great, you get immense portions for the price like a great family restaurant, and the service is great and friendly. The place is packed for take out so definitely order ahead if that's what you are looking for. Eating in was slightly less busy and the space is smallish and not super fancy, but the waiter was great and took fantastic care of us. Definitely going again and making it a regular spot.
The takeout counter is what this place is about, but they also have a small dine-in area as well - probably seats about 30 people in total. Food was delicious and fresh. I had the roast lamb which was done just right. My husband ate the chicken, and we got little fried cod cakes for my toddler. Everyone ate everything. Piri Piri sauce was served in a mini jug and was awesome. Going back for sure.
Good food, service and promptness could have been better. We had a table of 4(2 adults) and it wasn't terrible busy.
Meh. Order taking, and hence order accuracy are a bit of a challenge. But the food is tasty. The price of structures are sometimes mysterious but its tasty.
The food here is SO good. Their churrasco chicken is incredible. Good portion sizes for your money and you're served fairly quickly; staff are pleasant. I haven't had a sit down meal here yet - only take out - but the atmosphere seems pretty nice whenever I pop by to grab my food; clean, well designed dining area. They also carry a variety of Portuguese specialty goods; pastries, cookies etc.
