Loved my experience. It was so cozy and very welcoming. There were so many options to choose from too. Dianne was amazing and the sweetest. She made me and my friend feel at home. She knew what I liked and was able to help me find my dress for my big day ☺️?. If they have a dress for me, they’ll have one for you too.
Caught them on Instagram and knew I had to come and check out their selection. It’s officially my new go to thrifting spot. Was giddy with the selection of statement jackets and hats. Not many thrift stores have quality finds. If you’re looking for a dress for literally any occasion, there’s one for you here. Their bridal selection has items less than $500. There wasn’t a single price tag that I gawked at. Everything is priced incredibly well so you know you’re getting a steal. Brands I saw on my first visit: Theory, Moschino, MK, Wilfred, Danier, Sunday Best. 5-star customer service as well. Fitting rooms available. Staff are friendly and helpful in finding what you need or giving you a zip up when you need it.
I haven’t been to play it again Val for a few years but even realizing the amount of time since I have been there . I (although recommend it all the time ) tonight I took my daughter to go grad dress shopping and at first we didn’t have the best of luck finding something that she loved and that fit properly . The store was about to close so I had no intention of asking for help in my head I figured we would just come back another day. But then all the ladies stepped in a helped they found the perfect dress for my Daughter and even found some perfectly matching jewellery It wasn’t just about the dress , They made her feel so amazing and she has the biggest smile on her face ! Thank you for making her feel so special- this will be something she remembers for the rest of her life!
This used to be our go-to place for upscale and formal consignment. When visiting last week to shop for an upcoming event, the sales clerk couldn't care less to give me the time of day. I was so surprised at how dismissive she was! Sad to say we won't be back to a store that made me feel like such an inconvenience.
My experience here was humiliation. God forbid you go through financial struggles during the layaway process. My daughters prom dress $650.00+ tax....the night we were there the experience was wonderful for bpth my daughter and her friend and myself. I put a $100.00 down to secure the dress and was to make payments afterwards. a payment was given of $150.00 and then life went way wrong. I couldnt afford the dress as other things were more important. i called the store to release the dress and asked for my $150.00 back. I understand the deposit being non-refundable. The girl who answered the call had me mixed up with another client who purchased 2 dresses even after she got my full name and the payment details on this specific dress. I was told that the dress would be put on consignment and Id recieve 50% of my $150.00? At the time, i was extremely dissatisfied with this response as the dress in question had never left the store and was brand new. I sent a message with my concerns and extreme dislike for the way it was handled as God forbid you come across financial troubles here. A return message was sent explaining that i was mistaken for someone else and the employee was spanish and a had a language barrier and would be able to receive my $150.00 in full which was what I had originally asked for in the first place. i apoligized for my misunderstanding only to be accused of cursing and swearing at this girl over the phone. then told about a family run business and how they had accomodated me with my $ situation by holding the dress for me. THATS CUSTOMER service? wow...guess they are only geared to people who have money and empathy for anyone else is gone. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely humiliating.
My daughter was looking for a prom dress and was treated like a princess. Although the store was busy, all the women trying on dresses were given a lot of assistance and attention. Relaxed , friendly atmosphere and no pressure from staff to buy. Very positive experience.
So many great deals...and then a lot of sales on top of the low prices! I highly recommed Val's store. (Yes, the owner is actually a lady named Val, and she runs the store with her daughter!)
