Greed Ruined This Shop – It Used to Be a Great Mechanic, Now It’s Just a Risk to Your Car and Safety, This place is absolutely off the list now. Long-time customer let down For over 20 years this shop was solid when Jordan actually worked on my cars himself, which is why I trusted them with an expensive Brembo brake and rotor setup. Now it feels like “dumb and dumber” are in the back and I honestly do not know if they are even licensed to touch a vehicle. A basic rear brake job turned into a dangerous nightmare because they installed the pads the wrong way on the rotors, something so obvious that only an amateur could mess it up. Denial, excuses, zero accountability When the problem started, Jordan’s response was to deny, deny, deny and blame the front brakes instead of even considering that his guys screwed up the rear install. I went to BMW directly, had the front brakes serviced just to eliminate his excuses, and BMW confirmed the rears were installed incorrectly. After I showed him the proof, he finally admitted the pads were connected the wrong way, but still refused to take responsibility, refund the labour, or cover the parts that were ruined by his mistake. Multiple visits, still unsafe This simple job turned into three separate visits, each time with a different excuse and no real solution, while I drove around worried about whether my brakes were actually safe. We are talking about brakes here – not a cosmetic issue – and their incompetence could easily have put someone’s life at risk over what should have been routine work. At this point, it honestly feels like the only thing this shop cares about is collecting money, not the safety of the people driving the cars they work on. Staff and licensing concerns The guy at the front, Ahmad, was absolutely useless throughout this whole process, offering attitude instead of help and acting like my concerns were an inconvenience. Between his behavior and the sloppy, dangerous work in the back, it makes you seriously question whether the mechanics in this shop are even properly licensed or supervised. Authorities should take a hard look at what is going on here because no reputable shop should have people installing brake pads incorrectly and then refusing to own up to it. Final warning to other drivers After this experience, there is no way this car or any future car of mine is ever going back to MB Master. If you value your vehicle and, more importantly, your safety and your family’s safety, do yourself a favour and stay far away from this place, no matter how good they might have been many years ago. MB Master might still advertise as a specialist shop in Ajax, but from what happened to me, it is absolutely not worth the risk.
I had an excellent experience with MB Master Ajax. Their service was very good — quick, accurate in diagnosing the problem, and they solved the issue very efficiently. Highly professional and reliable team. I definitely recommend them! JORDAN AND AHMAD BOTH ARE GREAT
Horrible customer service, no work done parts apparently arrived wasnt shown anything of the sort and too top it off car was stolen off their property after being dropped off 2weeks ago
I’ve been dealing with this shop for almost 5 years now, and they’ve never disappointed me. Ahmad is always professional, honest, and does excellent work. Highly recommend this shop if you’re looking for reliable and trustworthy mechanics.
I was thoroughly impressed with my initial impressions here. Unfortunately that’s where it ended. I took my car for a pre purchase inspection and the communication was good and the report came back clean, albeit with 1 comment about a code stored that was graciously cleared. I proceeded to purchase the vehicle and on the drive home a fault/warning light appeared that directly corresponded to the fault previously mentioned. It required a whole new assembly. Not a catastrophic failure but with a direct link I feel like the opinion and professional inspection was now compromised Next I noticed on a cold morning the car was a little slow to crank over. I checked the battery on the vehicle and it put out 227cca of the rated 850cca. Date code indicated the battery was original to the vehicle at over 8 years old. How is this not recommended in a pre purchase inspection? Overall I would say unless Jordan can fit you in immediately for a simple job , you should look elsewhere for a more reliable and diligent level of professionalism.
I recently had an issue with my 2019 Ram 1500. The dreaded death tic is what it was referred to by a mechanic I took it to. The solution that I was given was I had 2 options. 1) a new crate engine at 16,000 & an 8 month back order or 2) a used engine at 12,000 if one could be found. Plus the cost of the install of course. After much debate, on the advice of a friend I opted to visit Jordan @ MB Masters. After 5 Minutes with Jordan, I was advised that he could repair the problem. He put my mind at ease. He said that once he had the parts, It was 1-2 days for the repair at a much lesser cost than what I had been previously quoted. It was a no brainer as far as I was concerned. Upon ordering the parts, there was a back order for Cam Shafts for the 3.6L Pentastar engine(Thanks Stellantis for not only building a crappy engine, but also not stocking the parts to fix it when it does break). This was no fault of Jordan, There were 12,000 units on back order in Canada alone(I spent a lot of time trying to source the parts as well thinking that it couldn’t be possible). Fast forward to when the parts did arrive, As Jordan promised, 1 day for the installation of the parts and my truck is now good as new. The best part, the cost of the repairs was only 2400. Even though I had to wait on parts, it Was still by far better than any other option I had. The Service by Jordan and his team was nothing less than stellar. I would highly recommend MB masters to anyone who needs work done on any vehicle. In my experience, the wait on parts was more than worth it and MB masters has earned a new regular customer.
Beware of this place, I left my car for some minor work and was charged the same as if I would have gone to the dealer. Jordan talks very nicely but will break your car so you have to keep coming back to him. Place is gross, unclean, and you can tell that they are just scam artist as soon as you get there. You have been warned. Go somewhere else.
